Garth’s life changed the moment he was found huddled in a box on a quiet farm. Left behind and vulnerable, he arrived in our care showing the physical toll of neglect—struggling with a deep respiratory infection and a coat that had seen much better days.
Yet, despite the trauma of being abandoned, Garth is a beacon of gratitude. He doesn’t hold his past against the world; instead, he greets his foster family with soft head-butts and a steady, rhythmic purr. He seems to understand that the cold days are behind him, and he is soaking up every bit of warmth and kindness he can get.
Garth is a gentle soul who is currently focusing all his energy on getting healthy. While he has some healing to do, his sweet nature is already shining through the scruffiness. He is finally in a place where he is valued, and we are so excited to watch their transformation.
Garth may have come to us from an awful situation but his future will be filled with warmth, love, cuddles and all the baby talk he can handle. We are honored to be his temporary parents and are looking forward to being with him on his journey towards his forever home.
