Rosco is a remarkable kitten with a heart as big as his personality! He came to us with a spinal injury but has been making an amazing recovery. He has a charming sway to his walk (which perfectly matches his cool and sly demeanor) and limited feeling in his tail—but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s the warmest, most affectionate little guy you could ever meet.
His injuries haven’t dulled his bright spirit or his incredible personality. Rosco is truly a rare and precious soul who spreads joy wherever he goes.
This playful and energetic boy loves life! Tents, tunnels, and toys of all kinds bring him endless delight. Whether he’s entertaining himself, playing with other feline friends, or engaging with his humans, Rosco is always full of joy and charm. His happy-go-lucky nature makes it impossible not to smile when you’re around him.
Rosco is more than just a lap cat—he’s a full-on cuddle champion! He adores being held like a baby and will happily nap on your chest for hours. (He even lets you sneak away for a snack or bathroom break and will climb right back into his favorite snuggle spot afterward.) At night, he loves curling up on your chest or feet before stretching out on his back like the adorable bed hog he is.
Due to his spinal injury, Rosco hasn’t fully regained control of his bladder and experiences occasional urine leakage while sleeping, playing, or eating. He’s completely unaware of this and has adapted beautifully to regular baths, clean-ups, and wearing diapers when needed. While medications haven’t resolved this, there may be other strategies that could help as his healing continues. Rosco needs a loving family willing to accommodate his care needs, whether they improve over time or remain ongoing.
Despite these challenges, Rosco is incredibly easy-going when it comes to his care. He’s patient during baths, cooperative with diaper changes, and simply happy to be involved in everything—especially if it means being close to his favorite people.
Rosco is truly a ray of sunshine. He’s sweet, gentle, and endlessly snuggly. While he’s generally relaxed and content to curl up on your lap, he also has a playful side—especially after meals, when he zooms around chasing toys and playing with his feline friends. He’s even discovered “cat TV” and loves swatting at games on the iPad.
When he’s not busy playing, Rosco enjoys sunbathing in warm spots and burrowing under blankets for cozy naps. At night, he’s a professional foot warmer—drifting off on your feet before eventually stretching out like the cuddly bed hog he is.
