Steven is a handsome tabby with what his foster describes as the fluffiest tail ever seen on a short-haired cat. While he was a bit nervous when he first arrived, Steven has proven to be a resilient and affectionate soul. He is much more vocal than his brother Peter, and will truly “talk” to you, communicating his happiness through a delightful series of chirps, meows, and a very loud, rumbling purr. He is a big fan of physical affection and will actively seek out pets by headbutting your hand whenever the mood strikes him.
A natural explorer, Steven loves to survey his kingdom from above. You’ll often find him perched on the tallest dresser, the bathroom counter, or the back of the couch, keeping a watchful eye on everything happening in the house. He is a very polite and tidy fellow and very neat in his litterbox habits. When it comes to dinner, he’s a bit of a “gentleman-grazer” who prefers dry food and likes to have his own space to eat peacefully. While he’s still discovering his favorite way to play, he’s shown a curious interest in wand toys and springs. Steven is more than ready to step into the spotlight and become the absolute center of someone’s universe—he just needs a patient home where he can continue to bloom into the star he was born to be.
