Susie is a shy little lady who is slowly warming to the idea of being an indoor cat. When I’m awake, she prefers to hide in the closet or under the bed, but when I’m sleeping, she gets out to explore and has recently started playing. She really seems to love the tunnel and spring toys. She doesn’t love being seen, but there have been a few times in the evening where she’s emerged from hiding places to have a snack or take a peek at me from a safe distance. She would probably deny this if asked, but she does accept the occasional chin scratch in exchange for temptations.
Furry Tales requires all small kittens to be adopted with a playful companion or for there to be a friendly feline already in the adoptive home. Kittens are social beings and companionship is an important part of their development.
