Came in together: Hawk, Rufous, Sooty, and Tawny.
Tiny Tawny is fighting and holding her own. We rescued Tawny and three other kittens from a barn. After coming into our care and fighting a serious illness, we sadly lost Rufous, Sooty, and Hawk, who passed peacefully wrapped in blankets and held close. We did everything we could, providing round-the-clock ICU care, but they were simply too weak.
However, we have amazing news about our tough little girl, Tawny! We are thrilled to report that she seems to be on the road to recovery and is responding well to treatment. She’s back to gaining weight and has an absolutely huge appetite, letting us know exactly when it’s mealtime with a dramatic yell! We think she’s going to be a complete Diva kitty, full of spunk and a fantastic set of lungs.
