Allegra began to trust her foster shortly after arriving in care. At first, everyday household sounds seemed like potential threats, and she would hide at the slightest noise. Now, she accepts gentle pats when she feels safe and has started venturing out for her morning paté breakfast.

She has a few specific spots around the room where her foster is allowed to pat her. When she’s touched there, she lifts her bum in the air and seems to enjoy it, though always a little nervously, as she’s not a fan of static shocks.

She is very pregnant and we expect her kittens are due soon. Hopefully we'll have a bit more time to make friends with her before they are born. ❤️

Anthony is a grey and white boy from from the Smith Falls area. His mom is Carmen and siblings are Alexa, David, Eddie and Michaella.

Anthony may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—he’s full of spunky charm. Once he warms up, he’s all play, all the time! A devoted little follower, he’s always trailing after his sister and copying everything she does. With his adorable blue eyes and lively spirit, Anthony is sure to steal hearts! He’s a keeper for sure.

Bendita came into care pregnant and is due soon. Her foster is hoping for a little more time to build trust and friendship with her before her kittens arrive. ❤️

Initially very frightened by all the unfamiliar indoor sounds, Bendita has slowly started to come out of her shell. She’s still shy and prefers to keep a piece of furniture between herself and her foster while she watches curiously, following her around the room and observing everything she does.

She let her foster give her a gentle pat for the first time yesterday morning while she was enjoying her breakfast pâté—a big milestone for this cautious girl. Though she’s still unsure about close contact, she’s begun to accept a few gentle strokes, especially when she’s nestled into a cozy box or carrier.

Bendita clearly craves affection. She often tries to cuddle up with her mom, Allegra, though Allegra hasn't been feeling very snuggly lately and sometimes gently bats her away. Baby steps for Bendita, who’s learning what it means to feel safe and loved indoors.
