Buffy is a sweet and gentle girl who is slowly becoming more confident every day. She can still get nervous when someone walks close to her and may run off to hide, but she doesn’t stay hidden for long anymore. Once she feels comfortable, she absolutely loves attention, especially chin scratches.
Buffy is also a huge fan of being brushed and will happily enjoy a grooming session almost anywhere on her body. She’s a little restless during both pets and brushing, happily flopping from side to side as she soaks up the attention. She’s even starting to find her voice, though she’s still a fairly quiet girl.
This curious girl has a real adventurous streak. She’s very agile and loves exploring places the other cats can’t reach, including hiding spots that are nearly impossible to find. She has even been known to perch on top of the kitchen cabinets and surprise her foster family during breakfast! When she’s not exploring, she enjoys relaxing in the cat tree or watching the world outside from the window.
Buffy is eating well and prefers dry food, though she also nibbles on wet food. She has regular litter box habits and is very thorough about burying her business. She’s also very gentle and has shown no aggressive behaviors, even when she was squirmy during her nail trim.
With her sweet nature, curious personality, and growing confidence, Buffy is a lovely girl who just needs a little patience and space when she feels nervous. Once she trusts you, she’s happy to show you what a wonderful companion she can be.
