Adoptable Cats

Mom is Elysia, siblings are Lumen, and Solis, and step-siblings Hallow, Quill, Rune and Sable.

Aether is small but mighty; she has her own voice and lets you know when she is hungry or wants attention. She loves to sit on your lap and snuggle, she has good litter box habits, and she loves to chase little toys. She would be so happy to find a forever home with one of her siblings.

Anna is an adventurous and curious little explorer! She loves meeting new people, other cats, and discovering every toy, tunnel, and nook around her. Always on the move, she’s hard to photograph because she’s too busy having fun!

Anna enjoys chin scratches and tummy rubs, and while she’s still setting her boundaries, her playful curiosity always wins out. She’s a social, lively girl who’s sure to bring lots of energy and joy to her future home.

Autumn is a sweet and slightly shy girl who is slowly but surely becoming a confident and loving companion! While she started off a little shy and can still be easily startled by sudden noise, she is never aggressive and is gaining confidence every day.

Though not quite a lap cat yet, Autumn absolutely loves a good chin and head rub and has even started doing adorable belly flops in order to get more pets. Her curiosity is growing, and she has recently discovered the joy of having her luxurious, slightly longer coat brushed—she will even flop over with her belly exposed for a grooming session! She has also started to play with her “bug” wand toy, showing a preference for it over feather and ribbon wands.

Autumn is highly bonded with her sister, Harvest; they are the best of friends, constantly cuddling, grooming each other, and have never fought. The sisters share a secret love for Temptations treats (which must be locked up at night, as they will try to steal the bag!). Playful, especially in the evenings, Autumn is looking for a calm home without other pets or very young children, where she can continue to warm up to human existence and fully blossom at her own pace.

Came in together: Emily, Sage, Kelly, Bart.

Bart, aka Bartholomew, is the only grey-and-white kitten in the group and the only polydactyl. He is a beautiful, small, gentle boy who loves to observe everything happening around him. Bart may hide in new situations or with new people, but he comes out quickly once he feels safe. He is currently one of the most playful kittens—whether that’s his natural personality or because he’s recovering a bit faster, it’s hard to say. He especially loves chasing a feather toy and even makes that adorable “I’ve spotted a bird” sound when he sees it. Bart should adjust well to a new family, though he will likely hide at first and may be shy with new people.

Kittens are Jerry, Perry, Gary, Mary.

Carrie is a beautiful tuxedo girl with an adorable heart-shaped nose. She has been a wonderful mom to her four kittens, patiently letting them play with her tail and create chaos as they race around the room. She often chirps and meows at them, keeping a gentle eye on their antics. Carrie herself hasn’t shown much interest in toys or active play; instead, she prefers to spend her days quietly observing her kittens and the world around her.

Shy by nature, Carrie is still learning to trust humans and will need a patient adopter who understands her gentle, cautious personality. She has not been tested with other cats or dogs. Now that she’s been spayed, she’s ready to begin a life of her own, where she can finally relax and just be Carrie.

She is not fond of loud noises or sudden movements, so she would likely thrive in a calm, quiet home, ideally without young children. Carrie has excellent litter habits and eats well, enjoying both wet and dry food. Salmon is her favourite, and she’s also quite fond of Temptations.

This sweet girl is ready for a peaceful, loving home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace.

Meet Crush 🧡

Crush (or Crushie) came to Furry Tales after enduring unknown hardships. Originally rescued outside of Cornwall. He arrived skinny, beat-up, and suffering from painful paw infections. Despite his condition, his rescuer saw his strong will to live and took him into care. Since he was already neutered, it’s clear Crush once belonged to someone, but sadly no one ever came forward to claim him. Soon after, Crush was diagnosed with diabetes.

Crush is a sweet, gentle boy. Timid at first, understandably so after his experiences outside, but already showing incredible progress. Within just a few days he started to trust, enjoying brush sessions and even offering little headbutts of appreciation. He’s spending more and more time near me, which is such a wonderful sign.

Ella came into care with her Mom, Eve.

Ella is like a wind-up kitten with no ‘off’ switch—she just goes, and goes, and goes! This lean, muscular girl has beautiful soft fur and striking tabby markings.

She is always in motion! It’s not unusual to see her run around the room at full speed, climb the cat tree, and then launch herself onto the bed. She loves looking out the window, watching bird and squirrel videos, and engaging in intense playtime.

Ella has never met a toy she didn’t want to play with! Her favorites include wand toys, ball tracks, and anything she can grab with her mouth. Be warned: even wiggly fingers or toes under a blanket will trigger her enthusiastic pouncing!

Came in together: Sage, Kelly, Bart.

Emily is the most outgoing of her group and absolutely loves human attention. She purrs if you so much as look at her. If you don’t pick her up, she’ll climb you herself. She has met several new people at her foster’s home and never hides. She warms up quickly and immediately asks for affection. She’ll sit on a lap and purr for hours. She’s also the most curious about life outside the kitten room and regularly tries to slip out. She greets her foster at the door and tries to follow them out when they leave. Emily will need a family that can give her plenty of love and attention.

Mother of Ella. Eve is a petite girl with velvet-soft fur and beautiful eyes. She’s incredibly sweet and friendly, quick to purr the moment you pet her. Even while busy caring for her little ones, she’s shown interest in a catnip toy or two, a glimpse of her playful side.

This loving mama is not only devoted to her kittens but also adores human affection. Anyone who meets her will be charmed by her gentle, affectionate nature.

Eve loves her food and treats almost as much as she loves getting attention. She’s quick to purr, especially when she’s enjoying a good head or chin scratch. When she gets a little overstimulated during play or pets, she may give a gentle nibble to let you know she’s had enough. It’s her sweet (and harmless) way of setting boundaries.

Frack is a shy and gentle girl with the softest silkiest fur!

Introducing the handsome little tiger, Frick! At approximately 8 months old, Frick is already quite a big boy.

He is very shy and unsure of himself. His backstory is a mystery, but whatever he’s been through has left him nervous around people. At mealtimes he needs a little patience: gentle encouragement, lots of pets, Churu incentives, and minimal noise or movement help him feel safe enough to eat.

Despite his shyness, Frick is incredibly gentle and clearly wants to trust. After bringing Memphis home last night, he seems a little braver—he still hides, but he’s beginning to explore more.

Frick has perfect litter habits and is starting to enjoy chin and cheek scratches. He loves a good covered bed or scratcher to feel secure, and he’s especially fond of the foster’s throw blanket.

He is never aggressive, hissy, or unpredictable. Just a big softie who needs time and understanding. We’re taking things slow but steady, and Frick is proving to be a truly lovely boy. He would make a wonderful companion for someone with a quieter lifestyle who can be patient as he learns that humans aren’t so scary.

He has also earned the nickname “Smiths Falls Cheeseburglar” for no particular reason other than being cheese-orange and smelling vaguely like Fritos.

Mom is Carrie. Siblings are Jerry, Perry and Mary.

Gary is the biggest kitten of the group and the only grey one. He is often the instigator of wrestling matches with his siblings and loves all types of toys. He makes adorable little squirrel-like noises that add to his charm.

Recently, he has taken on the role of his foster’s little “helper” during work-from-home hours. He is usually the first kitten to greet his foster when they enter the room. Curious by nature, Gary feels compelled to check out everything around him. Once he’s finished playing and exploring, he happily settles in for a cuddle.

All the kittens have good litter habits and eat well, enjoying both wet and dry food. Salmon and chicken seem to be the favourites. They have lots of energy for running, climbing, and playing together and are still learning not to bite fingers and toes, but they respond well to being redirected to a toy.
