Meet Leo, a remarkably gentle, loving, and trusting cat who is settling in as if he has lived here for weeks. Despite needing a little extra TLC with some grooming and taking care of a a runny right eye, he is wonderfully chill, completely unanxious, and slept right on the bed all the way through his very first night. His tail is still recovering from some stubborn black tar-like dirt and matting, but this boy is remarkably patient during his rinses, and prefers to leave the overall grooming to us right now.
Leo is a big fan of the simple pleasures in life, from enjoying head pets and testing out his cardboard cat scratcher to gazing longingly out the window. He even has a cute little meow he uses to say hello whenever someone enters his room, and he shows a clear fondness for other cats, waiting patiently while he finishes up his settling-in period. He is eating well—enjoying a mix of wet food and kibble—and has had zero issues with the litter box.
