It has been a busy few weeks for Maya, and this tiny girl is proving to be as resilient as she is sweet! Since arriving in our care, Maya has blossomed into an affectionate mother who is looking healthier every day. While she still appreciates a gentle approach at her level, she has become more confident and discovered the joy of lap cuddles—especially when a tasty snack is involved! Once she feels safe, this little mama loves being the center of attention and will happily purr the day away.
Maya is currently pouring all her newfound energy into raising her four kittens. She has her paws full with two little mischief-makers who are already sneaking out of the nest to stumble around and explore, while their two siblings are content to lounge in their cozy box. Watching Maya navigate motherhood with such devotion—while gaining her own brave spirit—has been truly heartwarming.
She is still learning to navigate sudden movements and loud noises, but with every passing day, Maya’s true, fierce, and loving personality shines brighter. We are so proud of how far this “best mom” has come and can’t wait to see her continue to thrive!
