Mocha is a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell lady who is the perfect definition of a cat who knows her own mind! This independent girl has been doing wonderfully in foster care, continuing to show us that she is a loyal companion who isn’t afraid to communicate her likes and dislikes.
Mocha’s absolute favorite pastime is “neighborhood watching” from her favorite windowsill. She is a quiet observer of the world, and with the warmer weather approaching, she is eagerly looking forward to a busier “bird-watching” season!
While Mocha is incredibly affectionate with her humans—often greeting them with sweet chirps and leaning into pets—she is still a bit wary of other feline friends. She currently prefers the security of her own space, sometimes watching the resident cats with curiosity and other times offering a polite hiss to remind them of her personal boundaries.
This stunning lady is a bit of a chatterbox, especially when she knows her favorite wet food pate is on the way! While she isn’t picky about brands, she certainly knows how to voice her excitement at mealtime. When she isn’t “talking” for snacks or watching the neighborhood from her favorite window perch, Mocha is an active player. She remains a huge fan of wand toys and has recently discovered the simple joy of chasing spring toys around the room.
Mocha is a tidy lady with excellent litter box habits and a heart full of love for the right person. She would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention (or perhaps the only “queen” of the castle) and has a sunny window where she can continue her important work as the household’s official lookout.
