Moonpie is a handsome tabby boy with an infectious, playful energy! He may be a little shy at first, but it only takes a couple of minutes for him to open up completely. Once he’s comfortable, you’ll know he’s excited when his tail is straight up and he’s climbing all over you, purring loudly!
Moonpie definitely has a “play hard, sleep harder” mentality. He is very energetic and loves all toys—balls, springs, kickers, and tunnels—but his absolute favorite is the wand toy. He’s also incredibly food motivated, which makes giving him meds super easy (though he still prefers wet food over dry). He’s good with older children, but can still get excited and nibble fingers when playing to hard. With constructive playtime and redirection to another toy he’ll quickly learn fingers are not for nibbles.
