Nikita is a dedicated mother who is slowly blossoming into her true, sweet self. While she was initially shy and preferred the safety of a spot under a chair, she has settled in beautifully as she raised her kittens. She is a well-behaved and easy houseguest with excellent litter box habits and a healthy appetite.
As her three high-energy kittens—Earth, Wind, and Fire—have reached nine weeks old, Nikita has shown great patience but knows how to set boundaries! She isn’t afraid to give a rightful hiss when the little ones get too rowdy. She especially appreciates the peace and quiet she gets when the kittens are off exploring on their own.
In her quiet moments, she allows gentle scratches on the back of her neck and will even lean in for a chin scratch, particularly if there are treats involved. Recently, Nikita has been thriving on a GI food diet. She is looking for a patient forever home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. This lovely girl will soon be ready to transition from her busy role as a mom into a cherished companion.
