Obsidian is a dedicated mother currently focused on raising her three little ones, Earth, Wind and Fire. While she was quite stressed when she first arrived—even hissing for the first few days—she has slowly begun to settle in. She is still a bit shy and prefers to spend most of her time in her safe spot under a chair at the back of the room, keeping a respectful distance as she adjusts.
Despite her initial wariness, Obsidian is showing her sweet side. She allows gentle scratches and rubs on the back of her neck while she nurses her kittens, and she will occasionally lean in for a nice chin scratch. She is also a fan of treats, which has been a wonderful way to build trust with her.
Obsidian is an easy houseguest who has been eating very well and maintains excellent litter box habits. She is looking for a patient environment where she can continue to blossom at her own pace.
