This sweet girl is Peanut. She was recently rescued from a truly devastating situation. She arrived with multiple large, raw wounds we think have been caused by her heavily matted fur getting caught, tragically pulling at her skin and leaving her in extreme pain. Despite the unimaginable discomfort she has endured, Peanut is finally safe and receiving the urgent medical attention, dressing changes, and specialized care she needs to heal.
Peanut has a very long road to recovery ahead of her, and we are determined to see her through to a life of comfort and kindness. This type of heartbreaking intake is not atypical for us, as we frequently step in to help those with the most complex medical needs. We are reaching out to our incredible community for support to help cover the significant costs of her medications and ongoing treatment.
