Phantom (aka Fanny) is a beautiful black-and-white girl who has blossomed into a confident and affectionate companion after taking the time she needed to feel safe. Once a shy cat who preferred to stay hidden, she has made incredible progress and now happily seeks out attention from the people she trusts.
While she isn’t quite a lap cat, Phantom loves being close to her humans. She will happily curl up beside you or settle between your legs on the couch or recliner, enjoying your company. She adores head and ear scratches, enthusiastically welcomes butt pats, and is even beginning to enjoy longer pets along her back and tummy.
As her confidence has grown, so has her curiosity. Phantom has become a cheerful little explorer who loves investigating her surroundings and keeping an eye on whatever is happening. She has even discovered that climbing onto a desk is a great way to ask for attention, and she is never shy about reminding you when she’s in the mood for affection.
She has a soft, quiet personality and appreciates a calm home where people move gently and speak softly. Phantom has started coming when called for meals and enjoys being part of the household, though she still benefits from having the time and space to adjust at her own pace. She eats well, has impeccable litter box habits, and keeps her incredibly silky coat in beautiful condition.
Treats aren’t what motivate Phantom most, she is much more interested in people than snacks. Her greatest reward is companionship and gentle affection from those she trusts.
Because of her timid beginnings, Phantom will need a patient adopter who understands that she may take some time to settle into a new home. Once she feels secure, however, she transforms into a loving, curious, and delightfully affectionate cat whose sweet personality is impossible not to adore.
