Shade is a beautiful tabby-and-white girl who is the definition of “courageous but cautious.” She’s had a big life change recently, but she’s already proving that she has a brave heart. She has become much more confident and comfortable in her foster home and is usually the first one to step out and say a quick hello when you enter the room.
Lately, this sweet girl has really been letting her playful side take over. If you bring out a wand toy, get ready for some fun—Shade absolutely loves them and is almost always up for a game! When she isn’t hunting her favorite toys, you can find her going wild for her trusty catnip banana or claiming her favorite spots. Her foster family currently has three different cat cubbies in the room, and Shade fully believes that every single one of them belongs entirely to her.
Underneath her cautious exterior, Shade is undeniably gentle and craves affection. She is still a little nervous about how to ask for love, so she prefers slow movements when it is time for pets. She is also still warming up to the idea of kisses. Shade will do best in a quiet, low-key home with a patient family who respects her boundaries and gives her the space she needs to truly bloom.
