Shefford is a grey and white fluffball who is as sweet as he is ridiculously soft. If you think he looks fluffy in photos, trust us, he’s even fluffier in real life!
He’s the kind of cat who walks into a room, flops right over, and politely demands pets from everyone present, and honestly, who could say no? He’s a friendly, social, people-loving cat who likes to be part of the action, with a lovely purr that starts the moment your hand reaches him. He’s vocal and expressive, and will happily “talk” to you throughout the day—especially if he wants to play or be noticed.
He has a playful side and really enjoys wand toys, but he’s not nonstop energy. After a good play session, he’s perfectly happy to relax on his scratch pad or hang out nearby while you go about your day. Brushing is one of his favourite things, and he leans right into the attention.
Shefford is FIV+, a condition that affects the immune system. In many cats, including Shefford, FIV remains inactive and causes no symptoms at all. He is currently asymptomatic and otherwise healthy. With regular veterinary care and a low-stress, indoor lifestyle, FIV+ cats can live long, happy, and fulfilling lives.
Shefford would love to be the only cat in a home where he can soak up all the attention he deserves. He’s a total lovebug, happiest when he’s rolling into your hand, getting pets, and being adored.
