Happy Tales Spotlight – Puma Thurman
Thank you to Puma Thurman’s family for updating us on how she’s doing in her new home! Every update we receive from the families of our Furry Tales Alumni is special, and each one reminds us why we do what we do.
The sweet & very gorgeous Puma Thurman arrived at Furry Tales in April 2024 and patiently waited 5 months and 24 days before finding her forever home, making her one of the cats longest in our care. Shy cats and adults are always harder to find homes for, since they require a unique and patient approach that many kittens and more social cats don’t need.
Finally, in September 2024, Puma found her forever home. Her family spent tons of time and effort making sure she had room to grow and gain the confidence she so desperately needed.
Now, Puma Thurman is living her best life! She is great friends with her fellow furry friend, Nori, and loves getting head scritches. Her family said she is nothing less than the biggest sweetheart! Shy cats may require extra love, but that just means they have so much more love to give back.
Puma Thurman’s mom included in her update these wise words:
“If anyone is considering adopting a shy cat we hope that Puma’s story will encourage others that although you need a little bit of patience, they will give back the love you give to them tenfold.“
