Happy Tales Spotlight – TOFU
We are so proud to announce that Tofu has been officially adopted by Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and his family!
Tofu’s story is extra special: as a senior, FIV+ cat, he represents the “underdogs” who are often overlooked in shelters. By welcoming him home, the Mayor is showing our city that senior and FIV+ cats live long, happy lives and have so much love to give. Thank you to the Sutcliffe family for choosing Tofu and proving that every cat deserves a happily ever after—Ottawa has a wonderful new “First Cat!”
Ginny, the kids, and I are very excited to adopt Bruce (his new name) into our family and welcome him to our home. He’s had a tough life so far, so we are pampering him. I wanted to end by saying “let’s keep moving Ottawa fur-ward”, but my family would rather I just say that adopting Bruce has been a very paws-itive experience.
Ginny, les enfants et moi sommes très heureux d’accueillir Bruce (son nouveau nom) dans notre famille et dans notre foyer. Il a eu une vie difficile jusqu’à présent, alors nous le chouchoutons.
