Chia is a calm, confident, and easygoing mama cat who settles in quickly and adapts well to new surroundings. With her social and relaxed personality, she would likely thrive in many different types of homes.
She has a low-energy temperament and prefers quietly lounging nearby rather than engaging in lots of play. Chia enjoys staying close to her people, kittens, or Goliath, often following along simply to observe what is happening around her.
While she is not especially cuddly, Chia enjoys affection in her own way and happily accepts pets. She will occasionally meow for attention, and one of her sweetest habits is chirping back when spoken to, almost as though she is carrying on a conversation.
Her favorite spots include cozy windowsills, the couch, and nearby floor spaces where she can keep watch. She also enjoys making biscuits on soft blankets. Although not highly playful, she does enjoy a catnip banana toy and can happily kick it around, occasionally engaging with tossed toys as well.
Chia tolerates being held but prefers affection on her own terms. She has excellent eating and litter box habits and appears closely bonded with Goliath, often resting beside him and seeking him out when he is out of sight. She is a gentle, observant companion with a calm presence and a quietly affectionate nature.
Furry Tales requires all small kittens to be adopted with a playful companion or for there to be a friendly feline already in the adoptive home. Kittens are social beings and companionship is an important part of their development.
