Bobby is a handsome orange and white gentleman who finds himself back in our care through no fault of his own, and at 7 years old, he is the perfect age for someone seeking a settled companion.

He has officially reached that “prime” stage of life where he has traded the chaotic kitten zoomies for a more refined, laid-back lifestyle. Having lived in a home before, he understands the routine of domestic life and is ready to settle back into a favorite sunny window or a cozy spot on the sofa.

This sweet boy has so much love left to give and is simply waiting for a second chance at a forever “happily ever after.”

Briar Rose is a stunning white and orange tabby who has settled into foster care with ease. She is a delightfully vocal girl who fills the day with a variety of sweet chirps and chatters, making sure you always know she’s nearby. A true “people person,” Briar Rose is never far from the action and loves to see exactly what you’re eating or what project you’re working on. While she is a laid-back soul who enjoys sprawling out on the floor or lounging on the couch beside you, she also has a protective side—she’s been known to let out a funny, dog-like growl at people passing by the window to let them know she’s on duty!

When it comes to affection, Briar Rose definitely marches to the beat of her own drum. She loves receiving pets and will occasionally decide it’s the perfect time to climb on top of you for a cuddle session. However, she is a lady who values her personal space and is very clear about her boundaries; she will communicate with a quick nip when she’s had enough attention. Because of this honest communication style, she would likely thrive best in a home with older children who can recognize and respect her “petting threshold.”

Briar Rose is a fantastic eater who takes her mealtimes very seriously, offering plenty of vocal reminders to ensure her bowl is never forgotten. She enjoys both wet and dry food and stays very well-hydrated throughout the day. While she is a champion digger in the litter box, her habits are excellent and consistent. Though she isn’t overly interested in every toy she meets, she does have a soft spot for catnip and the occasional chase with a wand toy. Overall, Briar Rose is a confident, non-skittish gal who is at her absolute happiest whenever her humans are around.

She is such a sweet girl with a bit of sass hiding in the flicks of her tail! She has not been tested with other cats, and would probably do better in a home with older children or ones who understand the boundaries cats set.

Casper is a handsome grey and white gentleman who has returned to Furry Tales care and is ready to find the perfect, specific kingdom to call his own. While his previous adoption didn’t work out, Casper hasn’t let that dampen his spirits. Since arriving at his foster home, he has settled in beautifully—he is already playing non-stop and actively asking for all the cuddles he can get!

Casper is a social fellow with a very successful track record with dog companions. He is friendly, confident, and loves to be part of the action; however, we have learned that he is a “grown-ups only” kind of guy. Casper finds the high energy and unpredictable nature of children to be a bit overwhelming, so he is strictly looking for a calm, mature home without children where he can relax and feel truly understood.

If you’re looking for a workout partner, Casper is your man! His favorite current game is a unique version of fetch: you throw a toy across the room, he gallops after it with gusto, and then he waits patiently for you to walk over, pick it up, and throw it again – what a perfect way to make sure you get your daily steps!

While Casper is still adjusting after his recent move, he is more than happy to accept treats and affection in the meantime. He is an incredibly sweet, engaging cat who simply needs a quiet environment where the “hustle and bustle” is kept to a minimum. If you have a peaceful home and a good throwing arm, Casper is ready to fill your life with playfulness and love.

Every once in a while, a cat enters our care who leaves us truly speechless. Recently we welcomed Cherie, a resilient girl whose physical appearance tells a story of an incredibly rough start. As you can see, Cherie’s ears have been intentionally mutilated; the cuts are far too precise to be from frostbite or an accident. While we don’t know who would do this or why, we know one thing for certain: it didn’t break her spirit.

True to her name (which means “darling”), Cherie is the absolute definition of a sweetheart. Despite what she has endured at the hands of humans, she carries zero fear and holds no grudges. She is incredibly friendly, immediately leaning in for face scratches and pets the moment you approach. She doesn’t want to look back at the past; she just wants to be a cherished part of your future.

Cherie is looking for a family who will look past her ears and see the beautiful, forgiving soul underneath. She is currently waiting for her forever home and is ready to show the world that her capacity for love is far greater than any hardship she has faced. Let’s show Cherie that from here on out, she will only ever know kindness.

Bonded with Solstice .

Comet is an absolute sweetheart. He is a little more timid than his brother and will seek out a safe hiding spot when there are loud or unfamiliar noises. He loves playing with string and wand toys and is very active and playful.

When it is time to rest, Comet enjoys curling up in a lap for some quiet cuddle time. For such a small boy, he has an impressively loud purr. He has excellent litter box habits and is generally quiet overnight. His foster has truly enjoyed having this gentle and loving kitten in their home.

Dawn is a stunning grey female with a coat as sleek as silk and a heart that is slowly blossoming. Rescued from the outdoors in the Embrun area, Dawn is transitioning beautifully to the “indoor life” and discovering that the world can be a very comfortable place.

This connoisseur of comfort searches out all the best cozy retreats. If there is a soft spot to be found, Dawn will find it! Her absolute favorite things include: plush beds, a covered cat huts, and quiet, private corners where she can feel completely secure.

If you want to be Dawn’s best friend, the secret is Churu! She “loves, loves, loves” these squeeze treats, and they are the perfect way to bond with her and earn her trust.

Dilbert is a charming fellow who joined us this past Monday after being found as a shy stray. It didn’t take long for him to realize he was safe; he has already claimed the foster room as his own and spends his afternoons perched elegantly on the back of the couch, watching the world go by through the window.

Since settling in, Dilbert has revealed himself to be an incredibly affectionate and vocal companion who loves to “talk” to his people. He lives for chin scratches and will happily roll onto his side to invite more pets. While he is generally a gentle and mellow soul, he does have a playful side—but only for his favorite kicker toy, which is currently the only thing that can distract him from his busy schedule of lounging and chatting!

At ten years old, Eleanor has seen a lot of life, but her most important chapter is just beginning. This grey and white sweetheart was found as a stray, surviving on the streets when she should have been curled up on a warm sofa. Now that she’s safe in our care, we are dedicated to giving her the “retirement” she truly deserves.

Once arriving at her foster’s, it did not take Eleanor long at all to make herself right at home. Despite her time on the streets, she is the definition of a lap cat. She is already eating very well and seems incredibly relaxed in human company, greeting her foster family with a calm and trusting spirit.

Eleanor is a stunning girl with an adorable face and long, soft grey and white fur. While she is beautiful, she does need a little extra TLC to help with fur loss on the bottom half of her body due to an allergic skin reaction. With proper grooming, high-quality food, and a stress-free environment, her coat is growing back in and will eventually match her beauty.

As you might expect from a distinguished senior, Eleanor is very calm and prefers the simple pleasures in life. She is a total purring machine who will happily claim any available lap for head scratches and a long nap Because Eleanor needs time to heal and regain her full coat, she will be staying in our care for a while before she is ready to find her forever retirement home. We want to make sure she feels 100% her best before she makes her final move.

Eywa is a shy lady who will need a calm, quiet home to hep her settle and continue to gain confidence. She loves her squeeze up treats.

Mr. Garth Brooks (he prefers his whole name all the time) can only be described as wonderful. This quiet, respectful gentleman is the ultimate definition of a couch potato. He is most content curled up right next to you, binge-watching your favorite old British sitcoms or catching up on any TV show you need to finish. While he’ll tolerate being picked up, he’s a “four-on-the-floor” kind of guy who prefers to express his affection through proximity and gentle reminders.

Being well-groomed is essential for this man’s self-esteem, and he absolutely adores his spa time and will roll around to show you exactly where he needs attention. If your hand happens to drift away from his favorite spots, don’t worry—he’ll quickly grab your hand or give you a high-five to guide you back to where the pets belong! While he isn’t a massive fan of toys, he’ll occasionally engage with a wand toy or hide in a tunnel, but he much prefers the art of relaxation.

Mr. Garth Brooks has standards that would make any well-bred gentleman proud. He has no interest in crunchy treats and prefers his tube treats served elegantly on a dish—no eating directly from the tube for him! He also requests a placemat under his dishes and a mat in front of his litter box to keep his “castle” tidy, as he can get a little enthusiastic with his digging.

When he first came into care, Mr. Garth Brooks was quite sick. While he is much better now, he remains a bit “sneezy” as his sinuses continue to recover, but he finds that a nice steam shower makes everything feel right again. He has proven to be a polite roommate to other felines, respecting their boundaries with ease, though he hasn’t met any dogs just yet. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will lay by your side all day and definitely tell you that you look great in that outfit, Mr. Garth Brooks is ready to meet you.

Bonded with Mole

Meet Ginny, a petite tabby beauty with the softest fur and daintiest markings you’ve ever seen. While she is a shy girl who prefers not to be held, she is full of kitten energy and her natural curiosity makes it easy to spark her interest—especially when there’s a wand toy or a freeze-dried salmon treat involved. She is a gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with the other foster cats in the home and is learning more every day just how wonderful chin scritches can be.

Ginny is never far from her protector and best friend, Mole. This inseparable pair is bonded and must be adopted together; they share a beautiful connection where Mole diligently watches over her, often wrapping his tail around her like a scarf for comfort. Whether they are napping together in a window bed or Ginny is seeking him out for safety, they truly are each other’s world.

This wonderful duo is bursting with potential and quiet affection. While they are still learning that the world is a safe place, their playful curiosity and love for treats make them a joy to foster. If you have a patient heart and a love for “purrsonality,” Ginny and Mole are ready to bring double the love into your home.

Giselle is a beautiful house-panther. Here is a description of her, in the words of her wonderful foster:

“What is there to say about my beloved Giselley other than that this sweet angel has stolen my heart.

Giselle is a 14-year-old house panther and I have had the privilege of fostering her these past few months. Gisèle is palliative and is living out what time she has left in luxury. Her owner passed away and she was subsequently surrendered to a shelter, from which FTCR rescued her and she came to me.

Gisèle is in kidney failure and struggles with incontinence as a result. When in her room, she is amazing at going in her litter box and on her pee pads!! But pee pads along a wide area around her litter box is a necessity – she pees a lot! When roaming, she wears diapers and doesn’t put up a fuss about them at all. She happily explores during her “diaper time” and thoroughly enjoys drinking out of the kitchen sink, lol. Also because of her kidney failure, she requires fluids every other night, which she also takes like a champ! She also has arthritis and requires solensia monthly which keeps this little old lady mobile! She can even do the stairs in my house! It’s important that whoever is lucky enough to win the Gisèle lottery knows that pee pads and diapers are an important part of her routine, otherwise she will have some accidents, and that fluids and solensia are part of her health regime!

Personality-wise, Gisèle is my little dolly. I call her my Lady G, because she walks in such a sophisticated manner. She loves to be close to you, and she will enjoy your lap from time to time, but she will mostly prefer to sit on a cozy bed nice and close to you. She soaks up pets and is the sweetest lady, and she will look at you with the kindest eyes that seem to be a window into her beautiful soul. Gisèle tolerates my resident cats, but she would prefer to live out her remaining time as the only cat – the queen of the castle. She is also quite picky about her food, but she is very hungry!! She won’t eat kibble, only wet food. She loves poultry, with turkey being her absolute favourite – especially in chunks or shreds (she isn’t a big fan of pate). She will eat 3-4 cans of wet food a day easily, and she will let you know when she’s hungry! 🙂

Giselle, as a palliative lady, has a lot of medical needs, but for the well-prepared adopter, she is so unbelievably worth it. She is a wonderful girl with the sweetest disposition, the most enchanting personality and the most beautiful eyes!
