Agnes is a as bold as she is beautiful! A stunning calico and the “mini-me” to her mom. Annette, Agnes is a tiny powerhouse of confidence, mischief, and pure love. The the definition of a “people cat.”, she will choose to squeeze in a few more snuggles before heading for her dish at mealtime. Her favorite human snuggle spots include settling into your lap as soon as you sit down and being rocked in your arms like a baby.

Agnes isn’t just a lap cat; she’s an explorer with a serious mischievous streak. She is completely fearless and usually the first one in her litter to try something new. Whether she’s plotting a daring escape from the foster room or investigating the highest shelf, her curious spirit is always on the go. When she isn’t busy “helping” her foster humans, Agnes is a social butterfly who loves to wrestle and chase with her siblings, and when the games are done, you can usually find her tucked away at the very top of the cat tree, curled up in a nap pile with a friend.

Agnes would thrive in an active household where she can get plenty of attention and playtime. Because she is so social, she would love to be adopted into a home with another playful cat (perhaps one of her siblings!) or a family that has plenty of time for interactive play.

Don’t let the name or the age fool you—Al Capone is a 14-year-old Bengal who clearly hasn’t read his birth certificate! This handsome senior still has plenty of pep in his step and enough personality to fill a room. He is a true “treasure” who is looking for a retirement home where he can be the star of the show. Like all Bengals, he’s got a lot to say! He is very verbal and will happily strike up a conversation when he’s looking for attention or—more importantly—his dinner.

Speaking of food, Al Capone expects the finer things in life. If he doesn’t approve of the menu, he’ll let you know (and might make a bit of a mess to prove his point!), but once you find his favorites, he’ll devour every bite.

While he is deeply affectionate, he has a charming, humble side. Sometimes he’ll jump right into your lap, but other times he’s a bit shy and isn’t sure if he should “bother” you. He’s the type of gentleman who sometimes appreciates it when you go to him or give him a gentle lift for a snuggle. He also loves a good play session, though he prefers short, exciting bursts of activity rather than a marathon. A model citizen, he has excellent litter box habits and is very easy to have in the home.

Living with Al Capone is described by his foster as a “blessing.” He is a sweet, funny, and enduring soul ready to spend his golden years being pampered and loved.

Annette is an absolute sweetheart: calm, gentle, and kind. She loves pets and head scratches and enjoys being held. When her foster enters the room, Annette is often waiting at the door, greeting them with soft meows and little mrrps. While she isn’t much of a lap cat, she does enjoy sitting close by on the bed.

Annette has been a wonderful mother to her kittens, though lately she has started seeking quiet refuge from the chaos. She can often be found relaxing on window ledges, desks, or other high spots just out of kitten reach.

She is a very pretty cat with beautiful calico markings. Annette has a long, elegant frame with long legs and an impressively long tail, about 13 inches, yet she remains a delicate, dainty girl! As her kittens have gotten older, Annette has started to play more. She loves catnip toys, wand toys, and the laser pointer. She has even joined in playing with a couple of her kittens.

Annette would likely thrive in a quieter home without very young children, or with very respectful young children, She has been confident and friendly when meeting new people. She would be perfectly content as an only cat. She may be able to live with another cat, though this hasn’t been fully tested, as she was initially quite hissy and protective when she spotted a resident cat while caring for her kittens.

Apple is a stunning buff-colored kitten with deep, soul-stirring orange eyes that stand out beautifully against her pale golden fur. This friendly little lady is a “busy bee” who loves to spend her days investigating everything, making sure no toy “gets away” with and no cardboard box goes unexplored.

She has a bright, curious personality who always comes over to greet you, hoping for a fun game or a quick ear scratch. Apple is a social butterfly who brings a pace of warmth and energy to everything she does! Because she is so close with her sibling, Apple is looking to be adopted together with Strudel so they can continue their adventures as a team.

Meet April!

April is a social girl who loves being petted and talked to—and she’ll happily talk back! She’s quite vocal and enjoys responding when you engage with her. April prefers to nap in the basement rather than upstairs, but she often comes up when she wants to look outside or spend time with her people.

When her fosters are watching TV, she’ll make her way over, curl up on a lap, and politely (or not so politely!) demand pets. It’s incredibly sweet and just one of the many ways April shows her affection.

Over the holidays, April spent time with an 8-year-old boy with special needs. He was very gentle with her, and she clearly adored him. She does very well with children and genuinely enjoys their company.

April also gets along well with the resident cat. There is no aggression or tension between them—sometimes they play together, but more often they are happy simply sharing the same space or napping in the same room..

She is an easy cat to love and a joy to spend time with. April is calm, laid-back, and affectionate, and she truly appreciates attention when she asks for it.

Arthur is back in our care, a former Furry Tales baby surrendered through no fault of his own. After a brief time at OHS, he is absolutely thrilled to be settling into a home environment again! We are giving him all the time he needs to adjust and find a new home just right for him.

Arthur is proving to be loving, sweet, and curious. He and his friend Morgan are absolute snuggle bugs. After setting in, he’s become a very active boy who can be a bit mischievous when he’s looking for entertainment. Arthur is obsessed with the laser toy and anything catnip-related, and has discovered the joys of Cat TV. He also enjoys bird reality TV from the cozy bed in front of the living room window, and his latest obsession is boxes! Arthur is a certified box boy, claiming a recent shipping box as his own, as well as some tissue paper he found that now serves as makeshift bedding and a play thing.

While not necessarily best friends, he and Morgan do chase each other around, play a bit, and give each other the occasional bath, but on the whole Arthur is quite independent.

Bastet is a stunning “black panther” kitten with a soul as sweet as she is shy. While she is currently the most reserved of her family, she is bravely working on coming out of her shell every single day. Bastet is a sensitive girl who may flinch at sudden movements or noises, but once she feels safe, her true heart begins to show. She has recently started purring during petting sessions and even took the big step of approaching her foster for attention on her own! It’s clear she craves affection; she just needs a little extra time and a patient hand to show her that she is safe.

When she isn’t busy observing from a safe distance, Bastet is a graceful little hunter who loves playing with wand toys and springs. She has reached a wonderful milestone of feeling comfortable enough to play even when people are in the room, showing off her natural athletic side. Unlike her sister Hathor, Bastet isn’t very food-motivated—she enjoys a bit of wet food and treats but prefers to take her time. This regal girl is looking for a quiet, understanding home where her confidence can continue to flourish, turning her into the loyal companion she was always meant to be.

Beth is a stunning long-haired tuxedo “poof ball” who truly lives up to her namesake. Named after a beloved foster, this little girl is the embodiment of compassion and strength. She is “cool as a cucumber,” often sitting back to observe the world around her with a calm, steady gaze. Beth is the ultimate caretaker of the group—she is deeply intuitive and only intervenes when she senses a friend or sibling needs a grooming session, a gentle kiss, or a comforting cuddle.

Highly adaptable and easygoing, Beth thrives in almost any environment as long as there is a cozy bed and a quiet space for a snooze. She is an absolute sweetheart who is happy to be held and snuggled, and she even loves being brushed—which is a plus, as her magnificent long fur will require regular grooming to keep her looking her best. Whether she’s sharing her favorite Churu treats with her siblings or curling up with a friend for a nap, Beth is a loyal, caring soul who will bring a sense of peace to her forever home.

Meet Chase, a wicked handsome tabby who is every bit as sweet as his sister, Freckles. This chill and curious young lad is a total “clean freak” who takes his grooming duties very seriously—you’ll often find him tidying up his siblings or his momma, Ms. Dawn. He’s even a semi-professional exfoliator who will happily ensure your skin is at its very best with his affectionate sandpaper tongue! Chase is a huge fan of human attention and has recently discovered that being held like a baby and receiving butt pats is the ultimate luxury.

Don’t let that permanently innocent look fool you; Chase is a bright boy who often finds himself in the middle of the fun! He is the resident “cardboard demolition king 📦👑” and can make a game out of any box, feather wand, or bag of Temptations. When he isn’t busy with his demolition projects, he’s a kind and gentle soul who loves to curl up on a high perch or cat tree with his sister. Chase is a “velcro cat” in the making and is just waiting for a forever family to provide him with the laps, kisses, and cardboard he deserves.

Crush (or Crushie) came to Furry Tales after enduring more hardships than any cat should, yet his heart remains incredibly soft and kind. This gentle, quiet, and deeply loving orange boy is finally ready for his forever home.

Originally rescued outside of Cornwall, he arrived skinny, beat-up, and suffering from painful paw infections. Despite his condition, his rescuer saw his strong will to live and took him into care. Since he was already neutered, it’s clear Crush once belonged to someone, but sadly no one ever came forward to claim him. Soon after, Crush was diagnosed with both FIV and diabetes.

Crush is the definition of a sweetheart: he is soft-spoken, enjoys belly rubs and brushing, and will stretch out against your leg for quiet affection. While new people can make him a little shy, his trust is worth the wait, rewarding you with sweet headbutts and a peaceful, content presence. He prefers cozy blankets on the floor to furniture, reflecting his need for a low-stress environment.

Crush would thrive in a calm, patient household open to managing his medical needs. His gentle resilience is inspiring; if you are looking for a loving companion who will give his heart quietly and sincerely, Crushie is ready to find his soft landing with you.

Edge is the life of the party and he has the matching outfit. Brilliant white whiskers, black toe beans and mix matched socks with the sweetest little black front toe. This boy is just starting to get comfortable in his surroundings but he is brave, curious, and a ham. Like the absolute silliest little boy. He loves all the toys, all the food and all the cats and kittens he can find.

He is like an old soul, a bit of father figure of his litter with the best sense of humor. Always entertaining others and himself. He is a charmer and his personality is just starting to shine through. It gets bigger and brighter by the day. Edge is looking for an active forever home where he can continue to be the shining light of every party and every day.

Emerald is a beautiful, spunky, calico girl who is just as precious as her name suggests. She is the perfect blend of a snuggly “lap cat” in the making and a spirited little athlete who is always ready for the next adventure.

Emerald is friendly and affectionate and knows that the best part of the day is spending time with her humans. She is consistently sweet and friendly, making a point to come over for a cuddle session every single mealtime. If you’re in the room, Emerald wants to make sure she says hello!

Don’t let her sweetness fool you—this girl has a spunky side! Emerald is an “early achiever” when it comes to exploring her environment. She was the very first kitten in her litter to make the brave leap up to the windowsill to watch the world go by. She loves a good wrestling match and can hold her own while roughhousing with her siblings. A true toy enthusiast, she is fascinated by tiny toys that she can bat around, chase, and “hunt” across the floor.

Emerald would be a wonderful addition to a home looking for a well-rounded kitten. Because she is so social and enjoys wrestling, she would thrive in a household with another kitten or a playful resident cat to keep her company.
